Overview

In an era where an entire generation is communicating more through technology than face to face, YBA communications is home to Young Broadcasters of America. Their trademarked methodology and curriculum improves oral communication skills in adults and young people. YBA's TV production group recreates the live TV experience. YBA has produced over 1000 hours of live video streamed webcasts, and interviewed sports and business personalities.

Jimmy Young

A Newton, Mass. native graduated from Tufts University in 1979 with a degree in history. I started my 33 years in media in radio in the Boston market in 1979, followed by 11 years in Portland Maine at the CBS affilate, WGME TV. In 1992, I returned to Boston to work at NECN where I hosted a Live Sports Talk show for kids that won a NE Emmy award.Building off that concept, YBA was born. I also have 12 years of media sales experience in Boston.

Jon Bower

A seasoned business professional who has started four successful start up companies in the educational technology field. A graduate of Stanford, and Harvard Business School. Jon is one of the premier educational consultants in the country. Lexia and Soliloquy are just two of the companies Jon has been influential building. He has serves as the Chairman of the Board at Mass Bay Community College.
