Nigerian farmers grow over 2M tons of tomato yearly but barely profit due to post harvest loss, aggressive middlemen, and unpredictable prices. Yet tomato is huge in Nigeria: –2.3M tons fresh tomato eaten yearly (mkt size $500M) –300K tons tomato paste imported yearly (mkt size $750M) We help farmers grow tomatoes profitably, and use them to make proudly Nigerian tomato paste that we sell to consumers at prices that match lower-quality imports.
