Overview

RME develops wave energy converters that generate clean power from ocean waves. Our goal is to commercialize the world’s first WEC-driven seawater desalination system that operates completely “off-grid” and displaces the sole competitor in this market segment - diesel-driven systems. Our target customers are coastal communities and resorts which have critical water shortages, limited or no grid connection and a nearby energetic wave resource.

Advisor to U.S. delegation to IEC-TC 114, involved in development of int'l technical standards for wave and tidal devices. As part of the Ocean Renewable Energy Coalition in Washington, D.C. Bill is building an effective trade association guiding marine spatial planning policy. MBA from New York University.

Pat Rezza

Over 25 years of systems experience in high tech, clean tech, and renewable energy including Kaman Electromagnetics, Intel, Opnext, & Premium Power Corp. Pat has led large engineering teams in the development, testing and deployment of electric drive systems, power conversion systems, and grid-scale energy storage systems. Pat has extensive experience in managing manufacturing and supply chain operations. MS from MIT, MBA from HBS.

Experienced leader of tech and product teams with a dual MBA/MPA from MIT Sloan & Harvard Kennedy School of Government. At Sloan/KSG, he interned for McKinsey and World Bank focusing on leadership development, rural healthcare & education.
