Overview

Pharos Devices has developed sensing and localization products that make medical procedures more efficient, effective and mobile. The first product marks breast tumors for efficient surgical removal. This product eliminates the need for a day-of-surgery procedure that is currently the cause of a large number of OR delays and cancellations. The customers are the 8,000 breast centers with over 550,000 breast cancer excisions annually in the US.

Nancy Confrey

Nancy Confrey, CEO, has been a management consultant in strategic planning and product portfolio management, (partner with Integral, Inc, and founder of Inflexion Point Consulting) with a focus on medical devices. She also has more than a decade of industry experience implementing complex hardware and software systems. She has a BA from Yale and an MSCS/AI from Stanford.

Christopher Adams

Chris Adams, Chairman, is a serial inventor and entrepreneur. He is founder and CEO of Andarix Pharmaceuticals, an oncology drug company focused on personalized medicine, and founder of Walleye Technologies, a handheld microwave device company. He has also founded other life science and medical device companies with successful exits. He has a B.A. in Psychology from Assumption College.
