Nix86 has built the first unified and transparent ordering and communication platform for the $300B foodservice distribution industry. This supply chain is currently undigitized. It is dominated by paper and telephone, resulting in lost profit for restaurants and lost selling opportunities for suppliers. With Nix86 both parties save time and make more money.

Founder/CEO

Alex Hardy

Alex has spent 25 years in the foodservice and hospitality industry. He has owned and managed multi-unit restaurant concepts, most recently serving as President of FiRE+iCE Restaurants. He has also run a wholesale coffee company distributing to restaurants and retail operations all over New England. Nix86 is born from the needs of the industry that he personally experienced over many years of operations.

Chris Cuddy

Chris has served as CEO of many public and private companies focused on e-commerce marketplaces. He was formally CEO of Cheapflights.com, Europe's largest online travel agency; CCO at FarePortal, the largest privately held OTA; and Exec Chair of EZCater, the first nationwide catering marketplace. He is deeply involved in all initiatives at Nix86.

CTO

Margaret Olson

Margaret is one of the 4 co-founders of Contact Contact (Nasdaq: CTCT) and served as their CTO from founding until they went public. She then founded Plum and served as CTO until the company was sold to Nokia. Nix86 is her third startup.

CRO

Alex Ross

Alex Ross began his career as a manager for The Cheesecake Factory and has since led sales efforts at Expedia, national accounts management at OpenTable and served as Director of Sales for VenueBook, a competitor to OpenTable. At VenueBook he took the startup nationwide to 4 major US markets.

Strategy Officer

Jim Miller

Jim is a life long entrepreneur and the founder of many Boston's most iconic restaurant brands including Steve's Ice Cream, Bertucci's, and FiRE+iCE. He is also a long time member of No Kid Hungry / Share Our Strength, the nation's largest non profit dedicated to ending childhood hunger.
