Overview

LoftE is a nonprofit focused on a significantly under-served audience: middle-income students who are unable to pay for their first-choice colleges and, thus, often must attend lower-caliber institutions. Our goal is to help these students attend the college of their choice by helping them pay for their four-year college costs. We then recycle a small part of students' post-graduation salaries (7%) to help new generations pay for college as well.

Piyush Jain

A 2nd year student at the Harvard Kennedy School student, Piyush is the co-founder and vice president of TSW Capital -- an investment bank based in India established to provide financial advisory services to emerging Indian enterprises. He also spent four years as a JP Morgan banker and interned at SoFi.

Sara Lauren Peters

Sara spent her junior theses and senior thesis at Princeton University researching the achievement gap in college attendance with low-to-middle income students and their wealthier counterparts. She was the policy associate at the Campaign for Educational Equity at Teachers College, Columbia University and Columbia Law School. This year she worked on a presidential campaign.

Eric Tauseng Wei

Eric Wei is a junior at Harvard College in the economics department. He has consulted for startups as a case team leader for the Harvard College Consulting Group, is a peer speaking tutor at Harvard, and has spent the past two summers interning for the Macquarie Group.
