Life Force Beverages specializes in healthy drinks with untapped market and cultural potential. We are a social enterprise whose mission is to improve the quality of food choices in hospitals, schools & low income communities; while still offering our products through traditional channels of distribution. Our goal is to be the first national provider of raw smoothies and herbal infusions to establish us as the name in these beverages, nation-wide

Liam is a co-founder of LFB and has a background in leadership from several arenas, as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, a chairman of a nationally operating non-profit, and as the driving force of the organization and growth strategy of LFB. Liam’s professional experience revolves around sustainability, sales and leadership. A background in fund raising, public speaking, budgeting & governing organizations compliments Liam's business skill

Vice President, Director of Logistics

Brian Axelrod

Brian is a co-founder of LFB. Brian’s professional background is in logistics with a focus on sustainable transportation. Brian’s deep connections with health, agricultural and educational communities and Boston’s organic food networks have helped develop several key relationships, including our proudest achievement: an account with one of the nation’s premier rehabilitation hospitals, Spaulding Rehab.

Director of Engineering and Production

Ernest Iwuchuku

Ernest has a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee. Ernest has experience leading engineering teams in food processing facilities. His focus is on lean production, which dovetails nicely with the sustainability values of LFB. Ernest’s most recent professional background is in solar energy.

Melanie Flach

Melanie is a master herbalist and accomplished entrepreneur and educator in her field. Melanie has extensive connections within the health-food arena from working for 15 years marketing for several companies. Melanie’s expertise and connection to the world of herbal medicine help her articulate the benefits of our products with a grace that deeply resonates with our customers.

Director of Marketing, and Social Impact:

Sam Freedman

Sam is the most senior, non-founding partner in LFB. Sam’s background in sustainable agriculture and in cross-cultural communication supports his role in articulating the defining missions and identity of LFB. Sam is responsible for developing key elements of the LFB brand and social mission.
