Overview

Gradeable is an MIT based education technology company that collects, grades, analyzes and manages unstructured data from formative assessments. For a monthly fee, teachers store and access student portfolios in Gradeable's repository. Since commercial launch in January 2014, Gradeable has doubled its user growth every month and currently is in over 650 classrooms.

Management Team

Founder & CEO

Parul Singh

Parul graduated in June 2012 from the MIT Sloan School of Management. She is a former product manager at New York Times Digital and analytics startup Visible Measures. She co-founded the Lean Startup Challenge and developed 15.S16, MIT's new lean product marketing and development class. During business school, she worked as an associate at seed stage venture fund Founder Collective and as a graduate teaching assistant.

Product & UX

Mikaila Waters

Mikaila comes from a long line of educators. As of January 2012, she is on a leave of absence from the Masters in Architecture Program at MIT to work full-time on Gradeable.

COO

Swagata Chakrabarti

Swagata graduated from Columbia Business School in 2008. She is a former Director at Philips Consumer Lifestyle and most recently was a product manager at Big Data startup Cignifi.
