Overview

The global market for freezer-to-vein blood management solutions is growing at 5-6% annually with more than than 600M units of stem cells, plasma and other blood components being frozen or refrigerated each year. FreMon Scientific has developed a thawing and warming device that performs with greater speed, safety, accuracy, and portability than any other device on the market, and is submitting the device for FDA approval in December, 2017.

Frederick Thacher

A senior executive with 40+ years of experience in medical device innovation, business development, and sales and marketing, Fred was the Marketing Director of AliMed, and the International Business Development Manager for ThermoGenesis Corp. Fred earned degrees in Biology and Finance from Boston University and Stanford University.

Menachem Shavit

An engineer with 25+ years of experience in technology development, R&D and engineering of medical devices and systems, Moni was the VP of R&D in ThermoGenesis Corp. Moni earned his M.Sc./B.Sc. degrees in electronics from the Poly-NYU, New York. Moni is a co-author of several patents in medical devices and is credited with the development of more than 20 medical devices in imaging, blood banking and cardiovascular clinical use.

Austin Walters

Austin's experience in healthcare began at Innosight, where he helped clients like Walgreens, Medtronic, J&J, and Eli Lilly find product-market fit for promising innovations. He is a graduate of BYU and the Harvard Business School, and has since brought technologies like Jana Care's Aina device, Harvard Medical School's online learning platform HMX, and EchoNous's handheld ultrasound devices to market.
