Chemo-Enhanced

Chemo-Enhanced holds an assigned patent to C6-ceramide as a chemotherapy agent. C6-ceramide dramatically improves the efficacy of Gemzar as a chemotherapy agent in pancreatic cancer xenograft models. The active agent has been tested on primary patient tumor samples from MGH cultured in vitro and more funding is required to test these in vivo as PDX models. The team is led by Dr. Michael Briggs, who has deep experience in drug development.
