The Cooperative is driving auto acquisition into the 21st century by establishing points of sale in the model of real estate and insurance agencies. It develops an ever-growing base of new clients through social media and word-of-mouth. Our methods eliminate advertising and many other unnecessary expenses. These proven, innovative methods generate more interest than the Cooperative can manage, which is the reason for this outreach.

Thaddeus (Ted) W. Kraus

Ted is the first President of the Auto Buyers Cooperative, chosen by the Board for his excellent sales skills, proven training and motivation experience in a broad range of settings from call centers and passport processing to welfare-to-work and technology. Ted was responsible for the web based training for one of the Nation’s largest passport providers providing access to training for more than a thousand agents dispersed from coast to coast.

Paul F. Fourier

A former dealer operator (Fournier Ford – Rhode Island) Paul is a highly regarded national automotive business leader working with teams who excel in delivery of programs designed to produce customer service excellence and enhanced dealer profitability. He has developed consistent successful marketing to increase closure rates, improve Customer Service Indexes (CSI), and consumer targeting to control advertising costs and effectiveness.

James J. Roberts

Former affiliate PBS-TV host, documentary producer, and TV news anchor in Providence, Illinois, and Gulf Coast, as well as retired Chief Information Officer for the Rhode Island Supreme Court; Jim’s nationally award winning media experience and mastery of web and communications technologies is paramount to the success of any venture with national aspirations.

Dennis S. Kraus, Ph.D.

An educator and Social Psychologist, Dr. Kraus was formerly an award winning auto industry executive. His decades of experience provide the Cooperative detailed knowledge and a unique understanding of the retail auto industry. His ideas led to the near 30 year development and refinement processes that are the foundation of what the Auto Buyers Cooperative is today.

Richard G. Mailloux

Richard's life long career in auto parts re-manufacturing and as a used vehicle dealer provides the Cooperative with an executive with a uniquely holistic experiential base that affords the critical career components in the end use acquisition of vehicles.
