Overview

Articulate Labs has developed KneeStim to improve knee rehab through everyday activity. KneeStim can improve mobility and quality of life for working-age (45-64) patients with later-stage knee osteoarthritis who do not want to sacrifice time for treatment. We have built a team around our founder/inventor with experience and success in developing and marketing medical devices in orthopedics. $175k lead investor identified; angel groups queued.

Mr. Pierce has served in senior management at four start-up companies that went public, creating over $1.5 billion in market capitalization. He has helped raise several billion dollars in equity and debt capital, via strategic transactions, private placements, and secondary offerings. He has led or been a part of strategic transactions that resulted in successfully launched products in pharmaceuticals, technology and healthy living.

Gavan has 30 years of business experience in various leadership roles, both domestic and international. During his 15+ year tenure at Dell, he has held the positions of Divisional GM, CFO, and finally VP, Global Treasury at Dell Financial Services. His experience shows clear success in key senior start-up management, mergers and acquisitions, board leadership, treasury (debt/securitization and treasury services), and P&L responsibility.
