Overview

Over 1/3 of children and youth in the US are obese or overweight. A major cause is the average 7.5 hours/day spent with passive entertainment devices. Obesity puts children at risk for chronic disease. ArtaTech's patent-pending tools encourage exercise and physical activity in children. A wristband measures physical activity and awards credits which are communicated to smart plugs and apps that control the time spent with passive entertainment.

Ramin Abrishamian

Serial entrepreneur with about 30 years of successful experience commercializing new technologies. Ramin has a B.Sc. (Hons) from Strathclyde University and an MS from MIT, both in Chemical Engineering.

Co-Founder

Amir Bavar

Almost 20 years of experience in hardware/software integration building CCTV, GPS, remote and local monitoring systems and Bluetooth marketing systems. Amir has degrees in Computer Engineering from UMass and Northeastern Universities.
