Overview

The company is based on the advanced technology innovations achieved recently in the laboratories of Prof. Gang Chen (MIT) and Prof. Zhifeng Ren (University of Houston) . A platform technology has been developed to make up to 90% higher performance of thermoelectric materials by a cost effective method. Also their newly developed thermoelectric material double the energy conversion efficiency than commercially available thermoelectric devices.

Xiaowei Wang

Xiaowei Wang was the Manager of TE device development at GMZ energy primarily focused on thermoelectric modules and systems for power generation applications. Dr. Wang also has extensive business development experience with various industry partners for new break-through products including writing proposal to attract outside projects and writing the detailed plan for technology cooperation execution.

Dr. Yi Ma

Dr. Ma was the Manager of the China subsidiary for GMZ Energy for 3 years, primarily focused on thermoelectric module packaging, fabrication and characterization in commercial scale. His expertise lies on material and process outsourcing and offshore operation. He has received a Physics Ph.D. degree from Boston College in 2009.

Mechanical Engineer. Responsible for detailed device simulation and mechanical system design and fabrication.

Hanghai Yang

Mr. Hanghai Yang was a mechanical Engineer at GMZ Energy for 1.5 years. He established extensive experiences on mechanical system design and fabrication. In addition, he has developed software skills to do thermoelectric module/device performance simulation including mechanical behavior. Mr Yang has a Masters degree from Northeastern University in Mechanical Engineering.
