What does it take to create sustainable, global events that unify, delight, and excite your community? Daniel Zaltsman, passionate community leader and developer advocate at DigitalOcean, will share how he helped create Hacktoberfest — an online and offline community event that encourages open-source contributions from people of all experience levels around the world.

As we launch our sixth Hacktoberfest event, We'll explore how Hacktoberfest grew from an idea to a sustained, global program, and explore how you can apply the lessons we learned building Hacktoberfest to developing your own community programs and reach hundreds of thousands of software creators.
