What: The GSSA Chapters at Harvard, Tufts, BU, and Yale are collaborating to host the 2018 Northeast Global Surgery Hackathon. Join us and collaborate with students and professionals from across disciplines to tackle the challenges in global surgery and surgical access.
Why: 5 billion people across the world do not have access to basic surgical care, an indispensable part of health care. This problem is not just a medical one - issues of access, lack of infrastructure, resources, national and international policies urges those from interdisciplinary fields to COME TOGETHER, collaborate and make a difference.
