AS THE PRE-SALES ENGINEER YOU WILL:

Become the domain expert on product features and communicate those features to customers.
Identify and define customer requirements and execute technology solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Tackle our customers’ challenges in a combination of pre-sales activities.
Give demos to show our how software can help create operational efficiencies and improve customer experiences.
Drive deeper business process discovery to understand the workflows inside the company, and then deliver complex solutions to explain how we can deliver on our promises.
Be a liaison to the Product organization for what our customers are asking for to help inform the Product Roadmap.
Partner with the Sales Executive, Professional Services, and management, all with one goal: to sell a successful Dispatch project, and as a result, have a happy customer.

An effective communicator with the commercial skills necessary to structure presentations and proposals for delivery to top professionals.

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:
Attend Dispatch’s Sales Bootcamp in Boston, MA, where you will learn go-to-market messaging, key differentiators, and segment-specific value propositions
Meet with current members of the Enterprise Sales Executive team individually to understand what’s working, what’s not, and gather learnings to implement into your role
Gain a strong understanding of the Service Industry space and the business challenges Dispatch solves; become a product expert on Dispatch Solutions
Start developing a sales support strategy with your Manager’s approval

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
Have a strong understanding of the business, and begin teaching us a thing or two we don’t know
Consider yourself a product expert in Dispatch’s solutions
Consistently achieve your goals relative to sales support and liaison to Product Management
Become a Dispatch product expert

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:
Independently supporting sales initiatives, developing SOWs, providing input to product direction
Regular attendance on in-person customer meetings

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
Consistently exceed your new business targets and continue your track record of closing opportunities and exceeding quotas

SKILLS WE SEEK: A graduate of a B.S or B.A. programming in computer science, economics, business administration or a related field. Able to conduct a needs analysis and quickly communicate how a Dispatch solution matches a customer’s business process. Both functionally and technically able to map workflows into our software. Self-directed, self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills. Willing to be a key part of the pursuit team, both in the presales role and the deal strategy team. Skilled at establishing credibility at all levels with the client, and building problem-solving partnerships with internal and external partners. Willing to have frequent short stay travel. Able to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex business problems.
