Overview

SolSolution makes it extremely easy and cost effective for K-12 schools to adopt solar power. We then reinvest the would-be profits into low-income schools through our Solar Powered Schools Granting Program and provide all partner schools with targeted, hands-on Educational Programming focused on solar energy, STEM education, and clean-tech entrepreneurship.

CEO

Soren Harrison

Dr. Soren Harrison is a scientist and entrepreneur with a strong background in engineering and physics, and a passion for energy, the environment, and education. As a Visiting Scientist at MIT and the CEO of Fusion Research Technologies, Soren has lead teams of scientists, engineers, and technicians to perform a major upgrade to the MIT nuclear fusion facility and successfully carry out Department of Energy Small Business Research.

Samantha Go

Samantha graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Environmental Science and Public Policy. Her academic research covered various aspects of China’s energy policy and framework, including Chinese renewable energy development, linkages to the electrical grid, and the impact of energy legislature. She also assisted research on mapping oil pipelines in the U.S. and analyzing environmental choices against socioeconomic variables.

Julia O'Brien

Julia graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in Math and Economics. Julia's keen analytical background has served her in further developing and refining SolSolution's schools financial and savings models. While she is able to utilize her technical mind to provide assessments and analyses, her uninhibited determination, creativity and innovation has been a tremendous asset in producing effective new strategies to help more schools go solar.
