FotoDish


Overview

FotoDish is a mobile app that helps users to make quick and easy dining decisions and bring streamline and modernize mobile marketing capacity to restaurants. FotoDish serves as a bridge between restaurants and diners by providing diners with accurate and effective restaurant dish information and customized dish recommendations based on data mining.

Han Wang

M.A. in Computer Science from Brandeis University, B.A. in Computer Science from Miami University. Han is the previous system development engineer at OwnerIQ, Inc, responsible for internet advertising budget allocation system development and algorithm design, a member of the core technology development team. Han has extensive modeling, algorithm design, system development experience.

Yifei Chen

M.A. in Computer Science at Brandeis University, B.A. in Software Engineering at Tongji University. Yifei is specialized in developing apps for Apple iOS and Mac platform and received second prize in the 2010 Apple Chinese Universities Competition. He interned at Kodak China in the past as the main developer for Kodak iOS app. He has extensive software development experience and has a strong interest in user experience and product design.

Tong Shen

M.A. in Computer Science at Brandeis University, B.A. in Computer Science and Technology from Xi'an Jiaotong University. From 2011 to 2012, Tong worked at Yangzhou HanSoft Information Technology Co., Ltd. as Chief Engineer in mobile development, and he had participated in the design and development of “Restaurant Know-All”, which is an informational service platform for regional mobile restaurant information. He mainly focused on machine learning

Zhaoming Deng

M.A. in Chemistry and B.A.in Biochemistry at Brandeis University, recipient of the Brandeis University 2012 Chemistry Research Excellence Award. Zhaoming has served in the restaurant industry in the past and is very knowledgeable about the operations in the U.S. restaurant industry. Prior to joining the Fotodish Project, he conducted top-notch research on diabetes at the largest Biomedical Engineering Laboratory in the world, the MIT Langer Lab.
