Cocomama is an ancient-grain-based food brand that brings both convenience, as well as nutrition + taste, to the much-needed gluten-free market. Currently with six cereal products in market, Cocomama has nearly tripled its distribution in 3 months and continues to see accelerated product turns that already outpace the industry average.

I'm a 14-year veteran of the natural products industry, which includes co-founding Kiwi Magazine, a healthy family lifestyle publication. A 2008 food-allergy diagnosis led me to recognize opportunities in the gluten-free space. My first step in launching my ancient-grain food concept was a Babson MBA. I graduated in 2010 and placed 1st in the Graduate Business Plan Competition. I was also a $50k winner in the 2011 MassChallenge competition.
