Overview

Click Materials is commercializing electrochromic window technology based on 10+ years of research at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. The windows are expected to be >50% lower cost than incumbent technologies that rely on capital intensive deposition equipment. Electrochromic windows (aka "smart windows") provide variable tinting capabilities that reduce energy requirements by 20% and improve employee productivity.
