Overview

We seek to advance good health and wellbeing by improving health system outcomes at the BoP. To do that, we are using the tested Artha Platform (arthaplatform.com, investamericas.com), built by investors for investors, to create the first dedicated health impact investment platform serving the global BoP. Our platform reduces transaction costs for investors and improves the visibility and funding of early-stage for-profit health ventures. We seek to identify, support, and scale meaningful, low-cost, accessible innovations that address real health system priorities (we already have a stellar lineup of very cool innovations that will blow your mind). But that's not all. We will partner with an analytics group to turn this connector into a data powerhouse to better matchmake, vet ventures, and track impact. We seek to influence the global health agenda by mobilizing a growing pool of impact investors, relevant local and international support organizations, and scientific advisors. Based on our lean yet aggressive approach we seek to rapidly scale our membership base and portfolio offerings to reach the needed impact in guiding what we consider to be a new stream of development funding. With our primary platform revenue streams of membership, processing, incubation fees, and equity alongside our secondary streams related to research, education and advisory services, we expect to break even by year three of operations. We are a team of four founding members. A physician turn global health expert, a seasoned impact investment portfolio manager, a public health communications expert, and a legal/financial advisor.
