Overview

3Derm uses machine-learning algorithms and clinically validated skin imaging systems to triage skin concerns at primary care, cutting wait times by more than 20x. For the last two years, 3Derm has sold teledermatology systems, distinguished by our image quality and B2B workflow. We are now combining our high-scoring diagnostic algorithms with our teledermatology product to become a full diagnostic suite of skin imaging tools.

Elizabeth Asai

Liz Asai is a biomedical engineer from Yale University. In May 2011, she served as Principle Investigator for a preliminary clinical study conducted at the Yale School of Medicine titled, “Investigating the Usability of a Handheld 3D Dermatoscope”. She serves as a liaison between 3Derm and local dermatologists, and works closely with business mentors who advise 3Derm on all corporate and commercial matters. Elliot Swart

Elliot Swart is a computer scientist and electrical engineer at Yale University. He has been programming since age 8. His research background includes two summers in a Stanford skin cancer lab, bone density imaging at Cornell, and machine learning research at Stanford’s STAIR lab.
