Overview

The VirZOOM Virtual Reality Game System is an exercise-bike based game controller in combination with continuously evolving VirZOOM Arcade fitness games. Currently compatible with PlayStationVR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift (Headset Sold Separately). Additional features include PC Gamepad Emulator (play existing PC games using VirZOOM bike as a controller), free Unity SDK (create your own games), and My VirZOOM fitness profile tracking.

Spencer Honeyman

Spencer heads up all things sales and leads strategic partnerships at VirZOOM. He’s excited to bring a new kind of game and a new kind of exercise to market. Eric Malafeew

Eric created the engine and directed engineering for 15 years at Harmonix, making innovative and best-selling games for new controllers like the EyeToy, Rockband instruments, and Kinect. His career also includes development of simulations and control systems for motorcycles, trucks, tanks, jets, and Mars rovers. His passion is to play, discover, and build joyful things with others.

Software Engineering Director

Henrik Holmdahl

Henrik has been developing console video games since the mid-90’s, specializing in graphics technology, for companies such as Visual Concepts and Harmonix. Henrik grew up in Sweden where winters are mild compared to Boston. He enjoys the outdoors.

Art Director

Peter MacDonald

Pete has been an artist and art director in the video game industry for over 20 years. Among his many credits are the best-selling games Guitar Hero 2 and Rockband. When he is not making innovative games, he can be found filling up sketchbooks or riding his motorcycle.

Director of Hardware Engineering

Anthony Larusso

Tony Lorusso has extensive experience using emerging technologies in innovative solutions for commercial and defense customers, ranging from deep sea oil well power systems to digitally fused night vision goggles. He also led development of the accelerometer used in the Nintendo Wiimote. Tony has received numerous awards throughout his career, holds a PMP, and has received Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from MIT.

Lead Game Designer

Rob Kay

Rob was the Lead Designer of Guitar Hero & Rock Band. A 16-year game industry veteran, he's made hit games on teams sized 1 to 150 people, published by the likes of EA, Atari, WB, and Sony.
