Overview

ICT provides infrastructure manufacturers with a system for tagging and tracking concrete and steel structures. Customers embed ICT's RFID tags during manufacture and use its software system to input information about the process. The tag can be scanned to produce a digital database for quality control, inventory management and asset maintenance. Customers include Union Pacific Railroad, state of NC and several large precast manufacturers.

Tom Tilson

Tom Tilson is founder and CEO of ICT. He maintains responsibility for business development, software development and manufacturing. Prior to founding ICT, Tilson was employed for 12 years in the concrete industry at two profitable startups, a manufacturing company (he founded and sold) and a distribution company that sold to the concrete industry. Consequently, Tilson is well known and respected in the precast industry.

Jeff Pollock

Jeff Pollock brings 34 years of financial experience, the last 13 in venture capital investment. He invested in ICT through his second fund in February 2011. The fund is now in the harvesting period so Pollock is dedicating his time to the development of ICT. Pollock's first fund produced 8 profitable investments from a portfolio of 12. He is responsible for strategic planning (with Tilson), finance, marketing and operations management.
