Greenbean uses existing recycling machines called Reverse Vending Machines (RVM) and adds a patented software allowing RVMs to have paperless process - allowing the 5 cent refund for each bottle or can to be transferred to any giftcard, loyalty card or PayPal account which allows RVMs to be placed anywhere. The software tracks each barcode recycled and identifies the user, giving beverage brands and grocery stores analytics on their customer.
