Overview

Dynamo sells its game changing power solution to the O&G industry. Dynamo equipment operates on local unrefined gas, reducing the cost of energy by up to 80%, while superior power quality improves the performance of driven equipment by up to 25%. Dynamo has fielded six turbines with marquee customers such as Kinder Morgan & Caterpillar, and has booked 18 units for 2018; including 5 which will goto BP.

Jason Ethier

Jason graduated from Duke in 2010 as a NASA Aeronautics Scholar and was pursuing an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering before becoming an entrepreneur full time. He has supply chain experience at GE-aviation where he learned about current turbine manufacturing practices, and he has also raised $2.5 Million for the TJ3Sat program while in high school. Jason was recently included by Forbes on their 30 under 30 lists of top disruptors for energy.

Ivan Wang

Ivan graduated Summa Cum Laude in Mechanical Engineering from Duke and is currently pursuing a PhD at Duke in Mechanical Engineering and has five academic publications. He is involved in component design and the development of the core engine technology. He also worked at GE-Aviation as an intern. Ivan has committed to joining Dynamo full time after the end of his PhD program in June 2013.

Former CTO of Beacon Power Executive Engineering and Technical Manager with significant experience in both large and start-up company settings, leading teams of 20 to 150 technical staff in development, transition-to-production, and production environments of cutting-edge products and technologies.
