Broadcast Pix


Overview

Broadcast Pix invented a computerized system for creating professional live video for streaming, projection and television. Over 3,000 customers include Dow Jones, Turner, Cisco, 3M, CBS and BC. It stumbled in 2010 in its transition to HD TV. In 2013 it was restarted with a new CEO, and the March 20 launch of new cloud-integrated products which the Company believes will be highly disruptive and stimulate rapid profitable growth.

Steve Ellis

Joined Broadcast Pix in early 2013 to lead restart with new disruptive products. Previously VP sales at Telestream from 2008 until grew rapidly and acquired. Previously led America sales at Pinnacle Systems from 1999 until grew rapidly and acquired. In 1992, co-founded SNNY. Began in video production at AT&T, Merrill Lynch and Editel.

Ken Swanton

Co-founded Broadcast Pix in 2002 and led it as President until early 2013. Previously President of Echolab 1996-2002. Previous at Digital Equipment Corporation DEC from 1979-1995, where he was VP.

CTO

Ben Taylor

Has been Broadcast Pix CTO since 2003. Was senior engineer at Avid from 1993-2000. Did start up in between. Is primary architecture of the new disruptive product.
