BB_Co is developing a novel circuit breaker that works equally well for AC or DC power. The Ballistic Breaker solves important problems for DC power distribution on ships and other microgrids, where the lack of cost effective DC circuit breakers have forced designers to use AC power. DC power collection and distribution solves important problems for microgrids with many small generators (wind, solar, cogen units) and multiple users.
