Wayfair just got more room to keep growing.
The fast-expanding online retailer said it has signed a lease for another 395,000 square feet of office space in the Back Bay that could eventually accommodate 4,000 employees.
The company will start moving into the offices, at 500 Boylston and 222 Berkeley streets, early next year, with some employees probably moving over from Wayfair’s headquarters at nearby Copley Place.
Wayfair currently employs about 3,500 people in Boston and has plans to continue hiring rapidly, and plans to fill the new space with employees over time.
