Meet Jordan Ross, CEO of PetsEmpower

May 29, 2018

PetsEmpower is a nonprofit that provides temporary pet fostering for people in crisis until they can be reunited with their furry companions. They enable people to move through crisis with the knowledge that their relationship with their pets will be preserved.

After graduating from college, Jordan found himself in an abusive home situation. Local shelters he found were not able to accommodate his beloved black lab, Jazz. As a result, Jordan and Jazz spent three months homeless on the streets of Boston. Finally, Jordan found a safe place for Jazz to stay while he got back on his feet and the two friends could reunite. From his experience, he wanted to help other people in crisis and founded PetsEmpower.
