Surround Insurance builds customer-centric insurance products for modern consumers in an uncertain world.
After leaving a long career at a major insurance company in Boston, Jay would spend his days biking around the city. Upon hearing news about a couple of biking deaths in Boston and New York, he turned to his own insurance policies and discovered that he was covered as a bicyclist in some policies he never would have guessed. Jay decided to start Surround Insurance to help modern consumers buy insurance products for their urban lifestyle by taking exact right coverages, unbundling them from big insurance policies, and then recombining them in ways using modern technologies that protect these consumers.
