Meet the 72 Startups in the Harvard Summer Venture Incubation Program

June 12, 2018

This summer, hundreds of students from every Harvard school will focus on turning their startup ideas into realities as part of the 2018 Summer Venture Incubation Program, a 10-week long acceleration program at the Harvard Innovation Labs.

The 72 teams in total, Harvard announced on Tuesday, represent a broad diversity of industries: 21% are focused on social impact, cultural entrepreneurship or education; 24% on consumer products or services; 26% on health and sciences; and 29% on enterprise or high tech.

Our readers should be already familiar with some of the teams, like PionEar (winner of $75,000 in a recent Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge contest) and Abridge News (a member of the just-announced MassChallenge’s 2018 cohort).

The Summer VIP teams will dedicate the vast majority of their time over the next two and a half months to collaborating with people from across Harvard. The program ends on August 10th.

Here’s the full list of the 72 ventures that were admitted to the 2018 Harvard Summer Venture Program (descriptions provided by Harvard University and edited by BostInno):
