7AC Technologies Inc. is a start-up company based in Beverly, MA that offers a new approach to air conditioning technology, delivering extreme energy savings and the ability to maximize climate friendly refrigerants. We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team on a clean energy solution with global impact. Overall Responsibilities: The Technical Sales Engineer is a combination of engineering, marketing, and sales in one role. Specific Duties: • Collaborates with strategic customers and end users to define their needs, develops applicable solutions based upon the 7AC technology, and influences 7AC’s adoption into project specifications • Drives new product acceptance into the technical community and accelerates adoption of highly technical concepts • Prepares technical drawings, specifications, calculations and cost estimates for 7AC equipment and system performance • Is highly active in industry conferences and thought leadership organizations • Shapes future products by translating customer needs (technical and code related) into concepts for the product management team 7AC offers medical, dental, life and disability insurance as well as a 401k plan. Minimum Education, Experience and Other Requirements: • Possesses a strong working knowledge of the following HVAC products and the understanding of how they are integrated into commercial building architecture and HVAC systems: DOAS, AHU, MAU • Understands energy and air quality modeling and has the experience to model systems with tools such as EnergyPlus and eQUEST • A Bachelor's Degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical or Material Science Engineering or related engineering discipline from an accredited university or college • Minimum of 5 years of technical sales or engineering / specification experience with HVAC products • Able to sit, type on a keyboard and use a mouse up to 8 hours a day • Able move around office and production areas and perform fine hand manipulation • Able to communicate with other employees, customers and vendors in person and by phone and email • Able to move/lift items up to 20 lbs. • Able to travel via automobile and plane as needed
