Launchpad is the largest angel investing group in the Northeast, with a broad base of very active members coming from a variety of backgrounds and professions, including the technology, financial service, industrial and life science communities. Launchpad is a top-five ranked angel group in the US by both deal volume and dollars invested. As a group, we are well-connected to potential customers, service providers, partners and future sources of financing. Our members are accredited investors who are proven business leaders with experience and skills from a broad range of industries and professions.
Launchpad members bring the financial resources, talent, knowledge and experience, networking contacts, domain-specific expertise, and energy and enthusiasm start-ups need in order to succeed. The one thing that unites this diverse group is a shared passion for helping interesting companies thrive through investment, mentorship, introductions and advice.
We are interested in products or services that address the needs of large markets. For Launchpad to achieve a high return on its investment, a company must sell to potential markets of $100M or more. We expect portfolio companies to become market leaders with 30%+ marketshare in 5-7 years.
