Making Status Works For You

Danny Balel - ImprovBoston

Status, or the social hierarchy we use in our everyday interactions, is a tool we use with our bodies, our tone, and our words. In this 45 minute workshop we will fully explore how status can affect our work life, and how we are more in control of our status than we think. We will also engage with modulating status for work with colleagues, superiors, subordinates, and clients. After the workshop, participants should have a new vocabulary for interaction and physical presence useful in many work-related activities.

Just adding stylized photos to Instagram and hoping for the best isn’t the best solution. In this session, Molly will share takeaways from the successes (and failures) with online interactions and reveal tips to gain (or win back) the trust of your community.
