Joe Barkai is a recognized industry analyst, strategy adviser, blogger, and published author, Joe focuses on researching, forecasting, and the strategic application of technology to drive innovation, competitiveness, and business processes excellence. With more than 30 years of experience helping organizations across diverse industries chart their product and market strategies, he offers a unique perspective and ability to connect the dots to articulate the business value of emerging technologies. His current research topics include the industrial internet of things, artificial intelligence and machine learning, robotics, and augmented reality.

Marc Osofsky, CEO, Aberdeen

Marc is CEO of Aberdeen, the leading intent-driven marketing solution provider. Prior to Aberdeen, Marc was COO Global Offerings at Lionbridge Technologies, where he organically grew his divisions from $70 million to $140 million in three years. Before that, he held executive roles at three venture-backed companies that were acquired by SAP, Checkpoint, and Interpublic Group. Marc began his career at McKinsey and has an MBA from MIT Sloan and an AB from Brown University.

Beth Porter, CEO & Co-founder, Riff Learning Inc

Riff Learning Inc. is a scrappy AI startup out of MIT that measures conversational dynamics to help people build situational and social awareness, especially when they collaborate. Beth’s philosophy is that people learn best from each other and that learning fosters both personal growth and organizational innovation and change. She teaches IT Strategies to MBAs at Boston University, where her students work in small, peer-learning groups throughout the course, and learning innovation in Media Ventures at the MIT Media Lab. Through her consulting practice, Geeklight LLC, she advises education, publishing, and technology clients on strategy, vision, and execution for end-to-end online learning solutions that meet business needs.

Eric M Andersen, CTO & Cloud Leader, IBM

Eric has over 20 years of experience designing, architecting, and implementing solutions for IBM’s clients across a wide range of technology platforms and industries. In the role of chief architect, he has led large-scale implementations of cognitive and hybrid cloud-based solutions, including microservices-based, transactional applications; trading platforms; virtual agents and chatbots; AI search and discovery applications; and complex integration systems. Eric has been widely recognized for his innovative customer solutions and has twice been the recipient of IBM’s Outstanding Technical Achievement Award. He is an IBM-certified IT Architect, as well as an Open Group Master Certified Architect.
