We encourage everyone to join us this summer to learn about a variety of topics. Innovation Women members, non-members, men and women are welcome to join!

Schedule:

6:00 - 6:15 p.m. - Registration and networking

6:15 - 6:20 p.m. - Introduction by Staples

6:20 - 7:30 p.m. - Authentically Promote Yourself to Advance Your Career led by Kimberly Meninger

Many women are reluctant to actively promote their value because it feels self-serving or inauthentic. Rather than promote themselves, they prefer to believe that their work will speak for itself. Unfortunately, without the confidence and commitment to share your value with others, you may lose out on important opportunities to raise your visibility, make a bigger impact and advance within your organization.

7:30 - 8:00 p.m. - Networking

Innovation Women (IW) is a self-service online platform, devoted to connecting female subject-matter experts to speaking and media opportunities. The platform has helped to connect more than 1000 women with speaking engagements around the world.

About Kimberly:

As an executive coach and consultant, Kim Meninger partners with established and emerging leaders to develop the confidence, visibility and influence they need to maximize their impact and achieve their professional goals. She is particularly passionate about helping women in traditionally male-dominated fields to advance to higher levels of leadership.

Kim has coached hundreds of professionals, individually and in groups. She has also delivered workshops and presentations to corporate and academic audiences, including Fidelity Investments, Pfizer, GE Healthcare, Johnson Controls, and many others. To create greater community and connection among women professionals, Kim leads a bi-weekly discussion group, Leading Women, where women exchange ideas on a variety of career and leadership topics.

Prior to coaching, Kim spent over 10 years in the high-tech industry, particularly at EMC Corporation. She has a BA in psychology and an MBA from Boston College. She is an ICF ACC-certified and CCE Board Certified Coach. Kim also holds a certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University. She serves as Global Director of Client Relationships for WITI (Women in Technology Int'l), Chair of Alumnae Initiatives for the Council for Women of Boston College (CWBC), Vice President of the Women Accelerators Lowell Chapter, and President of the Groton Business Association.
