We are proud to bring together the following leaders for the Pub Club's Masters' Institute event on leadership and communications: Justine Griffin, Managing Director at Rasky Partners Laura Oggeri, Chief Communications Officer for the City of Boston Emily Neville-O'neill, Senior Product Manager & Agile Product Owner at Harvard Business Review Jon Chesto, Reporter for The Boston Globe - Moderator of the panel discussion It’s often said you find out who your true leaders are in challenging times. 2017 has certainly qualified as a challenge for many across the communications industry - and 2018 will likely follow suit. From weather events, to social issues, cyber hacks, brand missteps and geopolitical unrest, communicators have been called upon to respond to crisis and reset organizations to enable them to move forward. There are many different perspectives on and styles of leadership, and the conversation will delve into several topics, including: How do we become better leaders within our organizations especially when faced with challenging situations? How do we build the strongest teams possible, and how do we foster a culture in which key players can step up in a crisis? How can you empower your clients / colleagues to be leaders within their organizations/ functions - is leadership an innate trait, or something that is learned and honed over time? Masters' Institute events are free for Publicity Club of New England members and first-time Masters' attendees. Tickets for non-members and those who have attended Masters' events in the past are $100.
