Shayna Cummings is a software engineer at Pluralsight and a director for Women Who Code Boston. She is passionate about community building and making tech more accessible to everyone.
Emma NguyenProduct Manager,
Emma Nguyen graduated from Bentley University in 2011. She is currently a Product Manager at an EdTech startup called Credly. Her professional experience includes software implementation, pre/post-sale support, QA, and custom application deployment across North America and Australia. She held various positions at companies of different sizes (Salesforce, iMDSoft, Credly) to help build products like digital credential systems, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, and EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems. She is passionate about innovative solutions and has a lot of professional experience with customers, developers, designers, sales, and other business stakeholders to share.
Kathryn Rose is the founding CEO of wiseHer, a revolutionary platform offering on-demand expert advice for women in business, career and life. Prior to devoting her focus to wiseHer, Kathryn was an executive marketing consultant for large global and local clients developing targeted online campaigns resulting in millions of engaged fans, followers and connections. Kathryn experience has taken her from startup to multimillion dollar companies. She is an award-winning Wall Street sales leader driving $100 million+ in annual sales and in channel marketing with global B2B clients. Kathryn is on the faculty for the IT leading association COMPTIA and a member of the Executive Council of Advancing Women in Technology and a sales coach for MBA candidates at Harvard Business School. She is the author of 9 books including two best-sellers: Solving the Social Media Puzzle and Return on Relationship. She has been has been featured in Working Woman Magazine, Guideposts Magazine, Network CEO, and Fox News , CBS Marketwatch and Channel 12 News.
Claritza AbreuFounder & CEO,
Founder and CEO of LatInc Corporation; LatInc is the first and only mobile social media platform available on the market for Latinos and communities to connect and advance their professional careers.
Claritza has had a very successful career as a senior technology executive working for both large and prestigious organizations in the academic, financial, healthcare and government sectors.
Her background includes local, national,and global experience working at the senior level. Claritza has held positions at companies such as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Federal Reserve Bank System, State Street Corporation, Cambridge College and many others.
A lifelong community leader supporting public health, research, STEM education, mentorship, civic engagement and social justice issues, Claritza’s professional profile and personal journey has been featured in several local and national media outlets. Her story has been told in the Boston Business Journal, National Public Radio (NPR), the Library of Congress and most recently in the National Latina Style Magazine’s -Women in STEM section.

As an immigrant from the Dominican Republic, Claritza was recognized by the President of the Dominican Republic as a meritorious Dominican abroad. Her picture is featured at the “Dreams of Freedom” Immigrant Museum, at the Top of Hub in Boston’s Prudential building.
A successful role model, Claritza holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering, a master’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University and several graduate certifications in technology, leadership and public administration from NYU and Suffolk University. She is pursuing an MBA from West Virginia University.
Nnenna NdukweSoftware Engineer,
Nnenna Ndukwe is a 23-year-old Software Engineer at O'Reilly Media, an online learning platform and publishing powerhouse for technical books, Resilient Coders bootcamp graduate, and a Computer Science student at Boston University. In her spare time, she volunteers for organizations such as Black Girls Code, travels, and writes tech articles on Medium.
