Grow your community of innovative thought leaders across Boston! Join this #FUNinBOS festival event co-hosted by Boston University's Innovate@BU and the Howard Thurman Center to meet and connect with diverse millennials of color who are driving innovation and creating impact in Boston and beyond through their careers, ideas and ventures. Hear inspiring lightning talks (5min TED-style talks) and meet fellow millennials dedicated to transforming ideas into impact.

Fierce Urgency of Now: Energizing Millennials of Color to Unlock Boston’s Promise (#FUNinBOS) is six-day festival designed to highlight the experiences of, challenges, and possibilities for millennials of color in Boston. This first-of-its-kind program will include more than 30 unique events hosted by a variety of organizations with the ultimate goal of creating a community where all feel welcome and all can succeed.

Innovate@BU is a Boston University initiative that enables BU Terriers to become drivers of innovation in their own lives, careers, and communities. Through the BUild Lab IDG Capital Student Innovation Center, it provides experiential learning programs that foster an entrepreneurial mindset by teaching innovation, communication, and collaboration skills enabling students and alumni to address local and global challenges.

The Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground preserves Dr. Howard Thurman’s legacy of breaking barriers of divisiveness by inspiring Boston University’s students to discover their shared humanity through programs and events designed to expand their intellectual, social, and spiritual growth and foster their development of meaningful and authentic friendships.
