n celebration of Hacktoberfest, join Girl Develop It, Women Who Code, and Cambridge Women Techmakers and Google Developer Group in celebrating the awesome world of open source software!

Hacktoberfest is an annual celebration of the open source community. More details here: https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com/

We'll provide support from setup to Git workflow, including a curated list of good first-time contributor issues and mentorship support for helping you get un-stuck during the event!

This event is open to all genders and skill levels. We encourage new developers to join us!

3:45: Wrap Up

Bring your laptop and come hack with us in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere! While this is not a class and there won't be any formal instruction, we'll give you lots of resources to get you started on your open source journey. Start contributing to open source and make some new friends!

Parking:
You can park at the 33 Arch Street garage for $11 from 5a-5p on Saturdays. Note: the entrance to this garage is on Hawley Street.

The CIC Boston is also easily accessible by all lines of the MBTA (Downtown Crossing, State St, Park St., and Government Center).
