The fashion industry is constantly changing and trends are evolving. We want to share the ways in which Boston's best designers and business owners are thriving in the Fashion industry. On November 13th, the Roxbury Innovation Center will host Fashion Innovation Night from 5-9PM with resources, tools, and information for entrepreneurs and startups in fashion.
This Free event will include a hands-on workshop led by RIC's own Gia Manigat and Founder of Q Made It, Quontay Turner; to customize clothing using computer-aided design with vinyl and laser cuts. Following the design workshop will be a 1-hour Brick & Mortar info session with the City of Boston's WE BOS organization. The event will conclude with a panel discussion with Boston's leaders in fashion and design including: Final Touch Boutique a family-owned retail store in Dudley Square, MadeINcuabtor Boston's first Fashion-based incubator program, Pink Shoe Lounge a Dorchester based retail store for women, Claude Michelle a Boston-based designer, founders of Linwood Fashion Group, and others.
