You're invited to BostonHacks, Boston University's annual hackathon taking place November 10th-11th at the George Sherman Union (775 Commonwealth Ave). Over the course of one weekend, you will work with a team to create anything from a website to a VR game. Whether you're a beginner or a long-time hacker join us for a weekend of hacking for social good, finding trends in data that will benefit Boston, and looking ahead to the future of the smart home.

This year's tracks:

  1. Giving Back to Veterans: Veterans risked their lives to let you sit in the comfort of your home, or at BostonHacks, and code. It’s time to give back and create solutions for problems countless veterans face every day.
  2. The Smart Home: Learn how to create Internet of Things devices and robots to realize the dream of the smart home. Get your hands on state- of-the-art hardware and study the intimate interaction of humans and technology.
  3. Data for Urban Good: Your hometown works every day to improve the quality of life for its residents. Help out your local city/town by utilizing their robust datasets and collecting insights for urban improvements.
