Beginning March 14, 2018, entrepreneurs, innovators, funders and other interested community members are invited to attend a monthly 1 Million Cups event on Wednesday (typically the first of the month) from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m.
The program’s model is consistent in each city: Once a month on a Wednesday morning, two early-stage startups present their companies to an audience of mentors, advisers and other entrepreneurs. Each founder presents for six minutes, followed by a 20-minute question-and-answer session with the audience.
The inaugural 1 Million Cups in Boston will feature presentations by The Collective, which helps women find functional clothing, and Cannabis and Community Care Research Network, which specializes in providing high-quality advocacy, research, and education services related to Cannabis.
The first event will take place at Boston University’s BUild Lab IDG Capital Student Innovation Center, located at 730 Commonwealth Avenue, Brookline, MA 02446.
